Laura likes helping couples, individuals, and children manage worry, sadness, stress and conflict in order to be successful in life and relationships. She has spoken at conferences throughout California and Oregon, and teaches classes in the community. She has over 13 years experience as a counselor, in a variety of settings. She currently supervises our interns.

Heather Johnson, Director of Education, Life Coach

Heather Johnson brings 15 years of training experience to our group. She has trained small groups, teams & individuals on a variety of topics. She is currently a “Becoming a Love and Logic Parent” facilitator and teaches quarterly parenting classes. She is also a life coach and member of the International Coaching Federation. She enjoys working with individuals to clarify their goals and discover their potential. Encouraging people to take the actions necessary to make dreams a reality.

Retha Millikan

Retha’s specialties include families with members who have bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, women’s issues, and anxiety in children. Along with her Masters of Science, she has experience as an elementary school teacher. Her certificate in Pastoral Counseling adds another dimension to our group.

Carla Stone

Carla’s focus includes working with elementary age children, adolescents and their families.  Her work encompasses developmentally appropriate and creative interventions for a variety of situations including divorce, blended families, anxiety, behavior issues, socialization, grief and abuse.  In addition she conducts small groups to enhance social building with children.  Part of her training has involved intense on site school based counseling and intervention.
